Environmentally conscious and circular materials
We meticulously choose our materials, adhering to rigorous environmental criteria, while embracing circular solutions and preserving natural resources. Additionally, we persistently seek methods to refine our material consumption, ensuring optimal benefits for both the environment and the climate.
A durable kitchen that can be easily revitalised
At HTH, our emphasis has always been on crafting kitchens built to last, understanding that a product's longevity plays a pivotal role in its carbon footprint. Recognizing that preferences evolve over time, we've designed our kitchens to be easily refreshed. With simple updates, like changing doors or worktops, you can rejuvenate your space without a complete overhaul.
HTH is used in construction projects carrying the Nordic Swan ecolabel
All HTH cabinets and fronts are crafted from materials that align with the standards set for Swan label-approved buildings. Many of our products proudly bear the Swan label, and we continually expand this range to include more fronts and worktops. Furthermore, our products play a constructive role in green building initiatives, supporting projects aiming for DGNB certification.
All our wood comes from sustainable forestry
Our products predominantly consist of wood—a sustainable, recyclable, and long-lasting material. We ensure that all our wood originates from sustainable sources, with a commendable 97% already being certified. Our ambition is to elevate this figure, aiming for a complete 100% certification, with recognitions such as FSC underscoring our commitment.
Ergonomic and safe products
Safety and ergonomics are at the forefront of our product development process. Before advancing any new product to the production stage, it is rigorously tested—both within our organization and by accredited external testing institutions that adhere to EU standards.
Our entire production is being environmentally certified
We are relentlessly pursuing environmental excellence across all our production streams. As a testament to this commitment, our operations are either already certified under the ISO 14001 standard or are actively working towards it. This standard represents the pinnacle of eco-management recognition. Moreover, our recent investments in equipment bearing the Nordic Swan Ecolabel enable us to offer darker color options without compromising our strict environmental and quality standards for our kitchens.
Our areas of focus
HTH works with sustainability across several focus areas, each encompassing a range of the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
