Why HTH

HTH is firmly rooted in Danish traditions of craftmanship

HTH is born of Danish traditions of craftsmanship. From the big picture to the tiny details, HTH is a true specialist in kitchens. At the company's factories in Denmark, kitchens are created with hands, hearts, and hi-tech solutions. This helps to ensure the uniformly high quality that distinguishes HTH kitchens.

But the high quality does not stop at the factories. We at HTH have always believed that kitchens are best designed and sold by specialists. That is why the staff you meet in the stores are trained to share their extensive knowledge and experience of kitchen design – which is a key factor for competent guidance and an excellent end result.

Kitchens with care

A good kitchen is created with care – for both people and the environment. As a result, all HTH kitchens are certified in accordance with Dansk Indeklima Mærkning (Danish Interior Climate Labelling – DIM) standards. Products that bear this label have been tested for degassing and odour emissions from a variety of different substances – proof that HTH is contributing to a healthy interior climate.

The HTH factories in Ølgod and Bjerringbro, Denmark, comply with the international ISO standards for environmental management. This means that HTH works continuously to optimise the utilisation of materials, to reduce energy consumption and to protect the external environment. For example, HTH uses only wood that comes from responsibly run forestry operations.

HTH is very much at the cutting edge when it comes to environmental initiatives. One specific initiative has to do with HTH’s boiler installation, which is fired using surplus wood from the production department. The installation makes HTH self-sufficient with regard to both spatial heating and process heat. In addition to that, the HTH boiler installation supplies the entire town of Ølgod with heat for 4–5 months of the year.
